This course is designed to provide the student with effective tools to achieve the best possible results from each delegation—from small everyday tasks to major leadership appointments. The course covers the major aspects of the delegation process, from deciding and prioritizing which tasks to delegate to choosing the right person for the job and motivating them to succeed. The course also identifies the pitfalls of delegation and provides alternatives to overcome barriers and anticipate risks. Practical advice is given on how to motivate and develop staff, build loyalty, and give and receive feedback during the delegation process.
